About
Ngong Hills rise 2,460 m above sea level, southwest of the city. The ridge walk covers seven peaks with wind turbines, wildflowers and panoramic views of the Rift Valley. Hire a KWS or Kenya Forest Service ranger for safety.
History
Beloved by Karen Blixen, who requested to be buried here; her grave stands on the lower slopes.
Local tip
Never hike alone. Start before 08:00 and bring a windbreaker.
