About
Carnivore has served all-you-can-eat grilled meat since 1980. Waiters carve beef, lamb, pork, chicken and (historically) game cuts at your table until you lower the white flag. A vegetarian menu and live music on weekends complete the evening.
History
Opened in 1980 and quickly became a stop on every safari circuit; the original charcoal pit still burns today.
Local tip
Book ahead, especially Friday and Saturday. Dress casually.
